Shoflo's Unique Mobile Layout Feature

Shoflo seeks to be as device friendly as possible. For this reason, we have created two mobile views to help you get the most out of Shoflo. You can switch between the views by selecting the icon at the top right of the screen on phones and top center when viewing a Show, Schedule or List on a mobile device.

On larger devices, like tablets, our users tend to prefer the “mobile table” view whereas phone users tend to prefer the “mobile shotgun” view. Our mobile views lack a few features that you’d find on the desktop like font formatting and styling but we’ll be adding more soon!

Mobile Shotgun
In our mobile shotgun view, the default view is typically a single column of your items while in portrait and a two column view while in landscape. The shotgun view is generally best for smaller devices like phones.

While viewing a single column in portrait, you can select the arrow on the right side of an item in order to view and edit that item’s data. While viewing two columns in landscape, the left column lists your items and the right column lists the data of the item you currently have selected. Each item’s data is typically displayed in columns on a desktop, but is shown as rows on mobile in order to better fit on the screen.

Mobile Table
Our mobile table view closely resembles our standard desktop view but is optimized to be finger friendly. You can scroll left to right to view your department columns and up and down to view different item rows. To enter cell edit mode, simply tap the cell you wish to edit.

Summary
Our two mobile views have very different feels. Give each one a shot and use the one that feels most comfortable to you!
