For the longest time, we offered six great colors to use for formatting rows with global highlights and for styling your text. While these colors worked, we always wanted to add more. Earlier this month, we expanded the base set of colors to 9, adding a new gray, blue, and purple color and then expanded on that palette by adding 5 shades of each color, ranging from ultra light to very dark. This new expanded palette should offer plenty of flexibility in making your shows pop with lots of color!
Here’s a peek of those new colors, and how to access the new shades.

How to access and apply these new formatting colors
- Using global highlights as an example, click on the row edit cog icon to access the row edit menu that contains options for global highlights
.
- You can click on any of the first 9 “base” colors, or click on the arrow to the right of the purple circle to access the new shades

As always, you can also use the Shift + CMD + G (Shift + CTRL + G on Windows) to cycle through the base colors for quickly adding new global highlights.
