The statistics about podcasts right now are staggering!

According to Statista, “78 percent of Americans are now familiar with the term ‘podcasting’ and more than 5 in 10 have listened to a podcast themselves.” There were 383.7 million podcast listeners globally as of June 2022, and it’s predicted that there will be around 424 million podcast listeners worldwide by the end of 2022.

With almost 60% of US consumers listening to podcasts and the live events industry being made up of a workforce of 12 million people, it’s no surprise that more and more podcasts are emerging from our space.

One of the things we learned recently from speaking with Nancy Shaffer and Dwayne Thomas of the Live Events Coalition, is that the best thing we can do for our industry is not to be quiet. We have to continue to come out from behind the curtain to make the voices in our industry heard – what better way to do that in this day and age, then a podcast?

I’ve compiled a list here for you to browse and choose the ones you might enjoy listening to, you might even get inspired to start your own!
